Positions Wanted

Currently, I am a Ph.D candidate in Department of Materials Science and
Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, under the guidance of Prof.
Anthony D. Rollett. My expected graduation date is January 2009. I am looking for a
full time position in Pittsburgh area.
Before I joined CMU, I obtained my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from
Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, and Bachelor degree in Metal Physics from
University of Science and Technology Beijing. I have 3 years experience with
aluminum alloys, 5 years experience with microstructure characterization, simulation
and modeling.

I am a doctorate (year 2000) in Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of
Technology, Kharagpur, India. I am an employee (Researcher) of the Research and
Development Division of Tata Steel Company, Jamshedpur, India and am presently
on study leave to work with The University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver,
Canada, as a Research Associate. I have worked with Western Michigan University,
Kalamazoo, USA, Michigan, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA, National
Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur, India, Indian Institute of Technology,
Kharagpur, India and University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada at various
capacities. My areas of research include, corrosion, hydrogen embrittlement,
structure-property correlation, welding, texture and physical metallurgy.

Currently, I am looking for a suitable and challenging posiition in Materials
